Pixelore ("the App") is a desktop photo editing application developed by Take Control - Software & Infrastructure EOOD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Sofia, Bulgaria. This policy describes how the App and this website handle your data.

1. Data We Collect

The App does not collect any personal data. Pixelore runs entirely on your local computer. No photos, file names, editing parameters, or personal information are sent to our servers or any third party.

1.1 Update Check

On startup, the App makes a single HTTPS request to check if a newer version is available. This request contains only standard HTTP headers (IP address, user agent). No personal information or photo data is transmitted. No logs of these requests are stored on our end.

2. Data Stored Locally

The App stores the following files on your computer for its own functionality:

• Last opened folder path — stored via Windows SharedPreferences (registry), so the App remembers which folder you were working in.
• ML learning data — a JSON file in your system temp directory containing anonymous statistical summaries of your editing adjustments (e.g., average exposure correction). This data never leaves your computer and contains no file names, paths, or photo content.
• Resource usage stats — a JSON file in your system temp directory tracking operation timings for the Help > Resource Usage feature.
• Window and panel positions — stored via SharedPreferences to remember your layout preferences.

3. Photo Data

All photo processing happens locally on your computer. Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party. The App reads photo files from directories you explicitly choose and writes exported files only to directories you specify.

4. Cookies

4.1 What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file sent along with pages of a website and stored by your browser on your device. The information stored may be returned to our servers or to the servers of relevant third parties during a subsequent visit.

4.2 What are scripts?

A script is a piece of program code used to make our website function properly and interactively. This code is executed on our servers or on your device.

4.3 Cookies on this website

This website (pixelore.mobisync.eu) is a static site and does not use cookies, tracking scripts, analytics, or any form of data collection. No cookies are placed on your device when visiting this website.

5. Third-Party Services

Neither the App nor this website use any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or telemetry services. The only external network request made by the App is the version check described in Section 1.1.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we process (we process none)
• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate personal data
• Request erasure of your personal data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Since we do not collect any personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR).

8. Open Source

Pixelore is open source under the MIT License. You can inspect the complete source code to verify these privacy claims.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and include the new policy in the next App release. We encourage you to periodically review this page for any changes.
