These Terms of Use govern your use of the Pixelore desktop application and this website. By downloading, installing, or using Pixelore, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software.

Pixelore is free, open-source software distributed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the following conditions:

The Pixelore name, logo, and branding are the property of Take Control – Software & Infrastructure EOOD. The source code is licensed under MIT, but the trademark and branding may not be used without prior written permission. You may not use our name or branding to imply endorsement of derivative works.

You retain all rights to your photographs. Pixelore does not claim any ownership, license, or rights over images you edit with the software. All processing happens locally on your computer. We never access, view, or store your photos.

Pixelore incorporates the following open-source libraries, each under their own license:

LGPL libraries (LibRaw, libexif) are dynamically linked, satisfying LGPL requirements while allowing Pixelore to be distributed under the MIT License.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
